Our Ministry

Hi! We are Bill and Judi Bianco. We have been married for 25 years, and have two teenage sons, Nic and Noah.

We have been Awana Missionaries since 2004 where we serve on the Mid-Atlantic Missionary team, specifically in the National Capital Region which is Central/Southern Maryland, Washington DC and Northern Virginia!

We were both born and raised in Ohio before moving to our current home in Bowie, Maryland. Before becoming Awana Missionaries, I (Bill) served as an associate and senior pastor for 15 years in Leavittsburg, Ohio and Judi has been a stay-at-home mom and high school English teacher. I have been involved with Awana since 1982 and in 1997 I started an Awana Club and served as the Commander in the church I pastored. Judi served in the Awana Club back in Ohio, first as a Sparks leader and then as the JV Director. She also earned the Awana Timothy Award as a child. We both served on the Northern Ohio Ministry Team for two years.

God has shown Himself to our family in so many wonderful ways as we have been obedient to the calling of Missionaries with Awana Clubs International. We are often humbled as we see how God is working through us to share the Awana Ministry with churches in our area.

Our Need

We can not do this ministry alone. Along with Ministry Team Members we need Ministry Partners to be prayer and financial supporters. You can change lives and make a difference for children, youth and families in the National Capital Region. The impact you can have is immeasurable . . . eternal. Through Awana, you can bless others with the knowledge and power of Christ, so that they may come to have a personal relationship with Him. It is a gift that will last forever.

To meet our budget we need to raise about an additional $2,000 a month. Any dollar amount is appreciated. We are looking for some to accept the challenge and support us at $100 a month.
