Dear friend,

I want to invite you and your kids to be part of our second annual Awana Kids Christmas Campaign:

How does it work?

U.S. clubbers will soon be letting their creativity shine in our second annual Awana Kids Christmas Campaign. Last year, clubbers sent over 5,300 brightly colored and decorated ornaments—along with a total gift of almost $40,000 to help reach boys and girls around the world who don’t know Jesus yet.  This year, we hope even more kids will send an ornament and a suggested $1, $5 or $10 donation towards Awana clubs.

Many thanks to Friendship Baptist Church in Statesboro, GA for
being the first to give to the 2010 Christmas Ornament campaign

*Please Note Detailed Instructions Below

There are three different ways you can choose to get involved.

  1. Give a copy of the ornament to your clubbers so each child has his/her own ornament to color. Ask each clubber to take the ornament page home, decorate it, sign it, cut it out and return it to your Awana club with a $1, $5 or $10 bill. Send the ornaments and a check for the dollars to Awana headquarters with your name and the name of your church. Please identify your check with “Ornament Campaign” on the memo line. Commanders, you can also mail or email either ornament to Awana families throughout your church. You can download the  ornament from the links above.
  2. Make copies of the letter and full-color ornament (see link above). Designate a certain club night when each clubber can bring a $1, $5 or $10 bill and sign their own ornament. Send the signed ornaments and a check for the dollars identified as “Ornament Campaign” to Awana headquarters with your name and the name of your church.
  3. Make it a family event! Parents and even older boys and girls can download an ornament (see links above) or donate directly to the Awana Kids Christmas Campaign.

What happens when the ornaments arrive at Awana headquarters?

Your clubbers’ ornaments will be collected with thousands of other ornaments from boys and girls across the country. They will be sent to clubbers overseas so they will know that children and families in America are thinking of them and praying for them.

How is the money used?

The dollars will be used to help us use the Awana program to share the gospel with kids who would not otherwise hear about Jesus.

Will you please help?

Please involve your clubbers and send your ornaments and a check for the dollars to Awana headquarters as soon as possible. It is my prayer that together we can reach more than 400,000 kids for Jesus Christ because of the Awana Kids Christmas Campaign. Please check our Website at http://awanainternational.org/christmas for ongoing updates of our Christmas campaign.

Sincerely in Christ’s love,
